2025 Junior Pan american games

2025 marks the second edition of the Junior Pan American Games held in Asunción, Paraguay. Hosting over 4,000 young athletes from over 41 countries across 28 sports, Taekwondo hosted 84 competitors across 12 medal events. With the winners earning a spot at the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima.

Master Gun Team USA Taekwondo Poomsae Coach

Within days of sweeping his divisions at the 2025 USATKD Nationals, Eric Gun asserted his dominance once again. Winning gold in the recognized male individual division, Eric left no room for doubt with another gold in the mixed pair freestyle poomsae division with his teammate Kaitlyn Reclusado (Team Dowon), who also won gold in her individual division. With his coach, Master Gun, their gold medals not only punched their tickets to the 2027 Pan Am Games, it also put Team USA on top of the total medal count for Taekwondo.
